Back in December and January, I shared some Amazon products that I was dying to try! I did end up buying a few of these items.....and a few additional items.....
I wanted to share my thoughts on my purchased items as I have used many of them for a bit now and have a better sense of my feelings about each product. Overall, I really have enjoyed everything I purchased and I'm excited to share more details with you below!
1. Electric Rechargeable Arc Lighter, $16.99
In the winter I love to light candles to feel hygge-y (serenity now!) and I am totally obsessed with this lighter. First, it is rechargeable with a USB cable. I have had so many cheap lighters that run out of fluid, and then you have to purchase another one (tres annoying!). Second, it flexes so that it can easily reach any wick for any candle. It turns on with the flick of a switch and when it lights it looks like a fun science experiment. This was one of my best Amazon purchases. Period.
2. Jelly Comb Slim Wireless Mouse, $9.99
My husband recently got me a new laptop for the holidays (yes, he's the TRUE gem). One thing I hate about laptops though is the track pad mouse. I don't know why, but I just could never get used to them. I didn't want to spend $50 on a wireless mouse, but I knew it was a necessary purchase. I did a lot of research and this chic mouse had amazing reviews and was only $10! I couldn't believe it. I figured I would give it a try and I have not been disappointed! Not only does the mouse function perfectly, I love the black with gold accents. It comes in a ton of beautiful colors if you want something bright and fun!
3. Makeup Brush Quick Color Removal Sponge, $3.99
If you are a makeup lover (especially eyeshadow) this is a LIFESAVER. I tend to use 2-3 different colors on my eyes when I do my makeup, and it's so annoying to use three different brushes just to get the look I want. By gliding your brush across the sponge, this little contraption gives you a fresh brush that's instantly ready for use! It's still very important to consistently wash your brushes, but when you're in a rush in the morning, this is a great, quick option!
4. Silicone Lip Scrub Brushes, $6.49
I don't know about you, but my lips have been SO dry due to the cold weather. These have really changed the texture of my lips by gently scrubbing away the dead skin cells. You can use these silicone lip brushes on their own, or if you want a more intense exfoliation you can pair it with a sugar lip scrub!
5. Large and Small Beauty Spatulas, $6.99
These tiny beauty spatulas really do help you get every last drop of your product out of the bottle! I know that I often lose a lot of my favorite moisturizer and serum when they are low in the bottle. This tiny spatula helps me make the product last for weeks longer than I would have originally thought.
6. Latex Nail Polish Barrier, $9.99
I really enjoy painting my nails at home, but I‘m not always the best manicurist (especially when I use my left hand!). This product makes home manicures super easy and clean. I just brush 2 coats of the latex tape around my nail/cuticles, and let it dry for 1 minute. I paint my nails and let them dry, and then I peel off the latex around the nail with all of my nail polish mistakes....and...Voila! Polish-free cuticles!
7. Simple Modern Reusable Food Pouches, $10.99
I had to include one baby item in this list because these are SO good. My son Zac loves fruit crushers and yogurt squeeze pouches, but they are so expensive if you buy them in a grocery store. These reusable pouches are wonderful for smoothies, yogurt, applesauce or anything else mushy that can be squeezed through a tube! I love the adorable design of the pouches and Zac finds them very easy to use. They are also top rack dishwasher safe and 10 of them are $10.99. Thanks to my friend (and amazing mom) Kristin for this awesome rec!
8. 3D Old-Fashioned Camera Silicone iPhone Case, $12.99
Sadly, when you have a toddler that loves to play with (and drop!) your phone, you go through a lot of phone cases. After watching Netflix's Emily in Paris I really wanted this case, because it is so stinking cute. I was a bit nervous about ordering it on Amazon because there were some mixed reviews online; however this case is SO nice. It's very durable, looks exactly like an old-fashioned camera, and comes with a surprisingly useful rope strap! I absolutely love it and I'm excited to take a picture with it and have someone ask me if it's a camera or a phone!
