Healthiest Baby is run by a pediatrician, Dr. Cathryn. Each of her posts covers a different stage within a child's life, and she uses mostly images to convey her messages. I have found so many of them to be helpful as Zac grows up and enters new stages of childhood. I love when I see a new post hit the 'Gram because I know that I will get quick info that is easy to understand and implement.

Lucie's List is your guide to everything you need for your baby (before and after it arrives. My pro tip is to join their newsletter! Use your baby’s b-day when you sign up to receive informative emails at approximately the time your baby is going through a new development. It helps you get ahead of buying baby stuff you will need. For, example Lucie's List reminded me when we needed to start babyproofing the house and had great suggestions for the best baby gates and safety wraps/closures to purchase.

When you first bring home your baby, you feel like you have been hit by a truck. You're exhausted and it is so hard to keep track of everything you need to remember in your brain! This is why I follow Baby Sleep Answers. First, everyone needs help getting their baby to sleep better. Second, having posts like the one above that can provide some guidance about baby wake vs. nap times is so helpful when you are sleep-deprived and feel like you can barely remember your name.

Starting solids with your baby can be terrifying. What if they choke? What if they have an allergic reaction? What food should I start with? Baby Led Wean Team is led by Katie Ferraro, a Registered Dietary Nutritionist, MPH and baby feeding expert. Her content is fantastic as she gives tips on how and what to feed your child, without the fear!

Every mom needs encouragement from time to time. Motherly is that Instagram account for me. It helps me stay centered and calm when I'm having a tough mom day. It's very common for parents to feel like they aren't doing enough or aren't doing things the right way. We need to learn to put less pressure on ourselves, know when to ask for help and treat ourselves with kindness.

The name of this Instagram account really says it all. I think that at the end of the day, we all just want to raise good kids who are kind, down to earth and grateful. How we talk or react to our children can greatly influence how they respond in stressful, upsetting and challenging situations. When I get frustrated with my son, I try to look back at some of the tips on this Instagram so that I can think about how to react differently the next time and better approach him. Being a parent is just plain hard, and sometimes we need little reminders that our tiny munchkins take in so much more than we realize.
