Essential Shower Items For a Spa-Like Atmosphere

I will admit that I don't take the shortest showers....it's definitely a vice. I just love creating a spa-like atmosphere in the shower because it's a place I can truly relax. Away from work. baby, responsibility....shower hour is my "me" time. Over the years, I have tried so many bath products, and I have discovered some essential shower items that make me feel excited every time I step in! Check out my recs below:

1. Scalp massage tool

This is the best tool to work in your shampoo and really cleanse your scalp. It also feels so nice on your head and ensures that you don't ruin your manicure when you lather up! I also enjoy using it on my neck and shoulders for a little self-massage.

2. Shampoo bar

I love using this shampoo bar on a day where I have a lot of build up. This one from Trader Joe's is infused with peppermint and tea tree oil, and gives the scalp a satisfying tingly feeling that let's you know it's really working. 3. Shave oil

Now that I use a shave oil there is no going back to regular soap or shaving cream. First, this Tree Hut Shave Oil smells amazing. I feel like I am in a spa or on an island with a single pump. Second, this unique formula is called an oil but it's really more of a gel that gives you a very close shave and leaves legs hydrated and moisturized. This is a product I will never stop buying!

4. Shower squeegee

I absolutely hate it when my shower gets mildew-y. The second I turn off my shower I squeegee it and it makes me so happy to know that I am helping my bathroom stay clean. I still have to bleach the shower, but this shower squeegee really helps keep everything dry and clean in between showers and cleanings.

6. Spa seat

When I was pregnant, it was incredibly hard to shave my legs. This spa seat was the key to staying furry free! I have a standing shower without a shower bench to rest my feet on. Therefore, this spa seat has been a DEAL BREAKER in getting the closest shave possible and getting to those hard to reach places!
