My Goodreads "To Read" list is bursting with hundreds of books, and there are so many being published in 2021 that I can't wait to get my hands on. Check out my most anticipated reads below!

Talia Hibbert's series about three sisters living in London is adorable. They are all standalone stories, so you do not need to read them in order. However, the characters will appear in all three books so it helps to have some context for the individuals. Learn about how the Brown sisters each fall in love in this fun trilogy!

2. Ariadne by Jennifer Saint

I was shocked by how much I absolutely loved Madeline Miller's Circe and The Song of Achilles. I think this book looks like a perfect fit for those that love retelling of Greek myths, and I'm excited to see how this compares with Miller's books.

3. Edie in Between by Laura Sibson

I'm SO excited for my good friend Laura to publish her second book. Her first book The Art of Breaking Things is STUNNING (the book AND the cover....that purple....OMG). This book is completely different from her debut novel as it is fantasy, and is described as a modern day Practical Magic. I can't wait to get my hands on this!

4. The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah

Full disclosure: I haven't read The Nightingale or The Great Alone. However, so many people have recommended both books to me and I know that Hannah is known for her phenomenal writing. This epic novel looks just as interesting as her others, and I am hoping this will be the year I read all three of these!

5. Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro

Ishiguro is a master of science fiction genre, and I'm excited to read this story which focuses on AI and the meaning of love. Never Let Me Go is one of my favorite books of all time, and I don't think this sci fi thriller will disappoint.

This series is SO GOOD. The Friend Zone (Book 1) and The Happy Ever After Playlist (Book 2) were in my top reads of 2020, so I can't wait for the third book in the series to come out. Similar to The Brown Sisters series, these books function as standalone stories. These love stories are sexy, fun and tres romantic!

7. Lore by Alexandra Bracken

This book has been described as Greek mythology meets the Hunger Games which sounds right up my alley. I love a good fantasy novel, and this one is a standalone which is nice. Sometimes I just want to read fantasy without committing to an epic series!

8. A Pho Love Story by Loan Le

The premise of this book just sounds so cute. Two Vietnamese-American teens fall in love and must navigate their newfound relationship amid their families’ age-old feud about their competing, neighboring restaurants. I love a good YA romance, and who doesn't love Pho?

9. Yolk by Mary H.K. Choi

Choi is the culture correspondent on HBO's Vice News Tonight, and has had a long career in print journalism and fashion (she previously worked at Allure). The premise of this book sounds very intriguing: a funny and emotional story about two estranged sisters switching places and committing insurance fraud to save one of their lives. Also, how freaking GORGEOUS is this book sleeve (see below)?

I'm sure I've told you this, but mine and Tim's first date was to go see Never Let Me Go. He'd lent me the book specifically so that he could ask me to go to the movie that was coming out in a few weeks, but I didn't know that at the time he lent it to me.
